MODERN TECHNOLOGIES PROOVED TOO COMPLEX FOR RUSSIAN BUILDERS

Due to flawed technical plan of railway approaches to Kerch Bridge, Russian Federation once again postponed the terms of commissioning of rail communication through the Kerch Strait.
Due to errors of engineers of CJS "Lenpromtransproekt" (St. Petersburg), the Government of Russian Federation will have to allocate almost 3 billion rubles (44 million dollars) to complete the construction of railway approaches to the Kerch Bridge, as evidenced by the order of the Government of Russia of December 27, 2018, # 2957-p.
It turned out that the available soils cannot be used to pave the embankment under the railroad. During construction, it was established that the actual soil properties differ significantly from those used during planning of CJS "Lenpromtransproekt".
Due to lack of sufficient building materials, in November 2018, a meeting was held between representatives of the occupation authorities of Crimea and Abkhazia, during which the parties discussed the possibility of supplying materials (crushed stone, sand, gravel) to the temporarily occupied peninsula for the construction of "Tavrida" route as well as expansion of trade assortment of other building materials (marble, stone, wood).
Also, in the railway tunnel under construction in the vicinity of the village of Oktiabrske, near the site of archaeological excavations of "Biy Eli" in 2018, there was an unplanned rock shift that damaged the tunnel fastening.
It is the reason why all construction works, including the cancellation of tender for electrification of the railway section of the bridge across the Kerch Strait are delayed.
Yes on 08.20.2018 the Federal Agency for Rail Transport of the Russian Federation announced a tender for the electrification of the railway across the Kerch Strait (to Baherove settlement). The highest margin of cost of works under the contract was set at 4.1 billion Russian rubles, applications were received until October 28,2018, but on November 19, the competition was canceled. At the same time, the Russian authorities did not announce the reasons for the abolition of the tender and excused themselves with archaeological excavations, again misleading the population.
We should remind that it is not the first case of unprofessional actions of officials of Russian Federation occupation authorities which led to large-scale accidents. Russian Federation once again demonstrated inability to work with modern technologies and inability to manage the temporarily occupied territories.
