CHILDREN OF DISPLACED PERSONS AND ATO FALLEN SERVICEMEN FROM DNIPROPETROVSK OBLAST WENT TO STUDY IN LITHUANIA

Another 15 children of fallen ATO/JFO servicemen and displaced persons will spend an academic year in Lithuania. 75 boys and girls already have received education in the Baltic country, said the adviser to the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional state administration Vitaly Litvin.

«Education of children of fallen ATO servicemen and displaced persons in Lithuania is one of our favourite projects. We have been implementing it for several years now with Honorary Consulate of Republic of Lithuania in Dnipro - noted VitalyLitvin. - 75 children had already taken part in the project. Some of them showed excellent results on tests and stayed in Lithuania for further study. Hopefully, a new group of students will also take the most out of this trip».

Children were accepted by International House Vilnius. Eighth graders will spend an academic yearthere, after that they will take a summer break at one of the local camps. Interesting groups, excursions, sports competitions are waiting for the schoolchildren.

Such education is free of charge. The Project is implemented with the financial support of the Government of Lithuania.
